De 19-jarige Rose en haar moeder Alma worden door Derek, moeder’s nieuwe vriend, uitgenodigd om mee te gaan op een zeiltocht naar Bermuda. Eenmaal op volle zee  worden ze aangevallen en Alma vermoord. Rose wordt achtergelaten, maar ze zal niet wijken voordat degenen die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de moord op haar moeder dood zijn.
